Every year, celebrities go all out and get creative with their costumes for Halloween. This year, the EGL Fashion Team decided to highlight our favorite celebrity costumes for the spooky holiday. Check them out below.

When we talk about celebrities and costumes we must always mention the queen of the costumes, Heidi Klum. Year after year, she brings her A game and this year was certainly no different.

Heidi “Thrilled” us as Micheal Jackson from his iconic Thriller video and we just love how dedication and commitment it must’ve took to pull this look off!

New Mom Angela Simmons spent a night out dressed as Captain America.

She definitely kept it cute and sexy with this one. Photo Credit: Instagram @angelasimmons

Speaking of sexy, check out LaLa as Skarlet from Mortal Kombat.

Lala clearly knows how to slay a costume. From the makeup to the sexy thigh high boots, we love it!

The Bronx rap queens Cardi B and Remy Ma both dressed up as Cruella Deville this year, and we can’t decide who rocked their costume the best. They both look great! What do you guys think?

The Real talk show hosts kept it real, real with their costumes this year and dressed up as different influential women in the music industry.

Tamera Mowry dressed as Nicki Minaj, Jeannie as Lil Kim, Lonnie as pregnant Queen Beyonce, and Adrienne Bailon as Cardi B. The entire cast was spot on with their looks! Great job girls!

And while we’re on the subject of Queen Bey, she attended Kelly Rowland’s costume party as Lil Kim. Her husband, rapper-turned-mogul Jay-Z, matched her fly as The Notorious BIG.

Kelly was not to be outdone at her own party, channeling Grace Jones for the night.

The women weren’t the only ones who the Halloween slay to new levels this year. Diddy decided to go as Hip Hop Legend, Slick Rick.

With all of the gold chains and ring accessories, we think Diddy nailed it!

Nas dressed up this year as the late, great actor and comedian Richard Pryor.

The red suit and mustache …. ICONIC.

Last but certainly not least, Usher channeled the Game of Thrones for his costume and transformed from the King of R&B to the Night King.

If we had to choose the best costumes for this year, we would have to give the award to Usher for Best Male Costume and Kelly Rowland for Best Female Costume. But we can’t deny, the celebrity Halloween looks for 2017 were for the books! We can’t wait until next year. Which costume was your favorite?

Get the Look: Beyonce’ in Hawaii

Recently, Beyonce' released photos of her family vacation in Hawaii. If you’re like me, you loved the Queen’s swimsuit that she wore on the beach as she snapped photos. I know you’re probably thinking where you can find this swimsuit, but unfortunately this Cia Martima piece is not available. Lucky for you we’ve got you covered on where you can get a similar look.

Here we have a similar look. This long sleeve tropical swimsuit is definitely a stunner.

This long sleeve monokini is a great option for you if you like the tropical look with a solid color contrast.

If you aren’t into the long sleeve bathing suits, this pick will be great. This bathing suit also has the tropical trend paired with the monokini style.

For our budget friendly ladies, this swimsuit is the one for you. We love this swimsuit by Zara. Not only is the price point great, but it is also so chic.

Which look is your favorite? Let us know.

Fashion News: Beyonce Receives the CFDA Fashion Icon Award

On Monday evening, the fashion elite gathered at the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC to celebrate the winners of the 2016 CFDA Fashion Awards. This year’s recipient of the Fashion Icon Award is no other than queen Bee herself, Beyonce’.

Beyonce’ came decked out in a striped Swarovski embellished Givenchy suit paired with her famous large hat she wears fiercely on stage and in her Formation video. The busy queen took a night off from her Formation Tour to accept this award and she gave a moving speech.

When we were starting out in Destiny’s Child, high-end labels didn’t really want to dress four black, country, curvy girls. And we couldn’t afford designer dresses and couture. My mother was rejected from every showroom in New York. But like my grandmother, she used her talent and creativity to give her children their dreams. My mother and my Uncle Johnny, God bless his soul, designed all of our first costumes and made each piece by hand, individually sewing hundreds of crystals and pearls, putting so much passion and love into ever small detail. When I wore these clothes on stage I felt like Khaleesi. I had an extra suit of armor. It was so much deeper than any brand name. ~ Beyonce’

The star went on to thank her mom, and family for introducing her to fashion.

My mother — who’s so fabulous and beautiful and is here tonight, I love you — my grandmother, and my uncle were always with me so I could not fail. My mother actually designed my wedding dress, my prom dress, my first CFDA Awards dress, my first Grammy dress, and the list goes on and on and this to me is the true power and potential of fashion. It’s a tool for finding your own identity, expression, and strength. It transcends style and is a time capsule of all of our greatest milestones. So to my mother, my uncle, my grandma, thank y’all. Thank you for showing me that having a presence is far more than the clothes you wear and your physical beauty. ~Beyonce’

We love how she gave a speech dedicated to the people who helped pave the way for her fashion sense today. What are your thoughts on her speech? To view the entire acceptance speech, check out the video below.
